Supporting our customers in providing energy solutions for the future
MGF’s offering to the Energy and Waste sector covers our entire range of products and indeed our added value services.
Schemes for Power Stations (conventional, renewable and nuclear), energy from Waste facilities and Wind Farms, range from small repair and enabling works utilising smaller trench support systems such as trench boxes, manhole boxes, drag boxes and trench sheets with walers and struts or manhole braces, through to large and often complex cofferdams comprising trench sheets or sheet piles and hydraulic bracing frame and hydraulic struts, to major support schemes utilising our Major Projects propping fleet and bespoke manufactured details.
The nature of the work in this arena tends to be particularly challenging, often having complex excavation geometry and poor ground conditions, therefore a rigorous and collaborative approach to temporary works design is essential. Our design team work closely with our Technical Sales team and our customers to ensure that excavations are designed with safety, practicality and value in mind, and are subject to the appropriate rigorous checking procedures.
