Drag Box

A simple to assemble, two-sided mechanical shield system drag box designed for use in trenches up to 5.0m deep and 3.2m wide. This two-sided trench application is ideal when installing utility pipes in non-urban environments where the ground is self-supporting and ground movement is non-critical.

Designed to be installed by excavator using the excavate and drag technique
Front cutting edge to ease forward movement, along pre-excavated trench
High clearance rear strut to accommodate laid service
‘Hog-back’ struts available for increased clearance
